About Amy Belt

It only makes sense that Amy is a professional landscape designer. Raised in the verdant landscapes of Northern California, Amy’s childhood was shaped by entrepreneurial parents who exemplified the power of transforming a passion into a career.

After Amy developed an interest in gardening from a planting design course she took in 1997, her hobby became her obsession. That obsession inspired prolonged learning – in addition to a B.S. from Colorado State University, she became a Certified Landscape Designer in 1999. Over the years Amy Belt Landscape Design developed into a business that offered full-service landscape design with an emphasis on functional and aesthetic elements.

Amy’s business has grown on referrals from hundreds of satisfied clients recommending her to their family and friends. Because Amy has worked in the same region for over two decades, her roots with the green community run deep.

When Amy isn’t sourcing materials, designing color palettes, or creating designs, she can be found traveling, walking her dogs, and taking photos of wild birds (@bird_shots). As a designer, she finds inspiration in the outdoors, on international trips, and through her relationship with her daughters and her husband. Amy’s family are also avid football fans, traveling quite often to see University of Oregon and Naval Academy football games.
